Perez Hilton Hospitalized After Reports of Grim Livestream

Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton was hospitalized Tuesday night after authorities responded to reports that he livestreamed self-harm from his Miami-area home, according to the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office. Deputies said they were alerted to a person broadcasting acts of self-harm on social media and later found the individual alone at the residence. He was "safely recovered" and taken by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue to a local hospital for treatment, per a statement from the sheriff's office.

The sheriff's office did not name Hilton, but it provided its statement in response to an inquiry about him, reports NBC News. The video—which was removed by TikTok—appeared to show him bloodied and holding what NBC News reports looked like a knife. His management company, Golden Artists Entertainment, said it has not been able to reach him and that his health and his family's well-being are its main concern.
