Ryan Reynolds, Rob Mac Just Bought a Famous Pub

Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac just added a famous pub to their UK portfolio. The Hollywood duo, already owners of the Welsh soccer team Wrexham AFC, bought a historic pub located next to the stadium where their team plays, reports Wales Online. The pub is called The Turf, and celebs including Paul Rudd, Channing Tatum, and Will Ferrell have been spotted there since Reynolds and Mac (formerly McElhenney) bought the soccer team in 2021, notes the BBC.

The purchase is being billed as a way to preserve local history: The soccer team was actually founded in the pub in 1864, though it was then called the Turf Hotel. But there's a clear business angle as well, with the team saying the purchase will allow for "further investment into the fan experience in and around matchdays."
