Rod Stewart is planning to hang up his touring boots—but not necessarily his microphone. The 81-year-old rocker announced Monday that his 2027 Final Encore tour will be his "last tour ever, ever, ever," with dates across the UK and Europe from April through July, the Los Angeles Times reports. He has a few US dates planned before and after that swing. "I'm not retiring, but this will be the last rock 'n' roll tour," he said in an Instagram video, thanking fans. He canceled an August concert in Cincinnati for what was later described as a routine coronary stent procedure. His team said that doctors were pleased with his recovery and that he had returned to normal activities. His decision, Stewart said in the video, was made with "much deliberation and sadness."
