The sender of a new but unverified message in the Nancy Guthrie case claims to know the identities of two kidnappers who abducted her, reports People. The person sent the letter to TMZ, which says it has forwarded it to the FBI. The sender promises that, in exchange for a bitcoin (currently worth about $60,000), he will reveal the location of a hidden phone that will identify the kidnappers. "What it contains is my definition of delivering them on a silver platter, a short video of the main guy with nancy the day that was probably her last, pictures of both involved, names and addresses and age," says the message.
Authorities have not publicly commented on the new claim. The development comes shortly after details emerged of an earlier note in which an alleged kidnapper said the 84-year-old mother of Today co-anchor Savannah Guthrie died unintentionally soon after being taken from her Tucson home on Feb. 1. TMZ says the new letter came from the same email address as one that has sent previous information about the case.
