Margot Robbie has made a quiet change on paper, even if her movie credits won't reflect it. Nearly a decade after marrying producer Tom Ackerley, the Barbie star has updated her legal name to Margot Elise Ackerley in UK filings for their production company, LuckyChap Entertainment, reports Page Six. The change appears in new documents filed with Companies House, where she'd previously been listed under her maiden name.

Robbie, 36, is still expected to use "Margot Robbie" professionally. People notes there've been whispers that she'd officially become an Ackerley going back to 2018, when a seating plan for a friend's wedding named her as "Margot Ackerley." She and her spouse, also 36, co-founded LuckyChap in 2014; the company has since backed projects including I, Tonya, Birds of Prey, Barbie, and Saltburn. The couple, who met on the set of 2014's Suite Francaise, married in 2016 in Australia and welcomed their first child, a son, in 2024.
