An alleged bank robber's getaway vehicle of choice in rural Pennsylvania turned heads: an ATV. State police say 57-year-old Robert Beers Jr. held up a NexTier Bank along Route 422 in Armstrong County on Thursday, fled on the ATV, and was later arrested at his home in Manor Township, reports WTAE. Police say Beers was armed during the robbery, with at least three people inside the bank at the time. Beers faces charges including robbery, simple assault, and reckless endangerment, and is awaiting a preliminary hearing. Authorities did not specify how much was stolen.
